Resumo: |
The present work intends to analyze the Black cultural pedagogies in the samba-plots created by Grêmio Recreativo de Arte Negra and Escola de Samba Quilombo, disseminated between 1975 and 1986, assuming that samba-plots can help us to rethink the teaching of African and afro-Brazilian history, as well as the training of teachers and students, and promoting, through the use of samba-plots elaborated by the songwriters of the Samba Quilombo in the classroom, a teaching that values and recognizes our afro roots and that fosters an antiracist education, as it is proposed by the law 10.639/03 and by the National Curricular Guidelines for the education of ethno-racial relations and for the teaching of African and afro-Brazilian history and culture (2004). The struggle of singer and songwriter Candeia to promote a valorization of blacks in Brazil and, thus, avoid the loss of afro roots in samba and in society was the motto that led him to create a school samba that did not follow the market patterns, permeated with what he considered the whitening of black culture. The samba-plots produced by Grêmio Recreativo de Arte Negra e Escola de Samba Quilombo (G.R.A.N.E.S Quilombo) between 1975 and 1986, compose the most important part of the sources used in the development of the dissertation. Analyzing the laws that govern the teaching of African and afro-Brazilian history and culture, as well as the samba-plots produced by the Escola de Samba Quilombo, we intend to promote the implementation of a teaching of African and afro-Brazilian history in the school environment to foster an antiracist education. |
