Resumo: The Multiprofessional Residency Program is seen as a space to modify the healthcare model by promoting critical and reflective training in professionals. This means that residency is an effective tool for promoting changes in the teaching-learning process, which directly reflects on the work process, especially in the Family Health Strategy (FHS) (Nascimento et al., 2016; Lima et al., 2015; Beker et al., 2016; Salvador, 2011). Residents are seen as a new team entering the health service with new perceptions and expectations. This can generate tensions between these professionals and the family health team, since practically all actions arising from their learning process require teamwork. In view of this, the general objective of this research is to identify the presence of intragroup conflicts between residents and the minimum Family Health team, according to the perception of residents of RMSF programs at the Visconde Saboia Sobral School of Public Health. This is a descriptive-exploratory research with a quantitative approach on minimum team professionals and residents of the Visconde Sabóia School of Public Health. The Intragroup Conflict Scale (ICGS), developed and validated by Silva (2009) at national level (Appendix A), was used to verify the presence of intragroup conflicts and which dimension of conflict prevails in the team. The study sample consisted of 180 participants, with a prevalence of females. Data collection was carried out through a Google Forms form. For statistical analysis, SPSS program, Mann-Whitney test and Chi-square test were used, considering the median of ICGS.The research identified the reliable presence of intragroup conflicts between residents and the health team, with relationship conflict being the most prevalent. The presence of conflict had no significant relationship with sociodemographic variables, except for residency time. It is concluded that conflict exists, but diverges somewhat from what was found by other researchers. In addition, this research opened up space for new questions presented throughout the study.
