Resumo: |
The present research deals with the consecrated processes and their mechanisms of construction of differentiation between the DJs of Fortaleza, in Ceará, Brazil. Starting from Bourdieu's understandings, the actions of the agents in their social space, indicated by the habitus, create a symbolic struggle for prestige positions through the accumulation of symbolic capital within this scene. Through the historical recovery of their careers, it is likely to identify the possible instances of consecration and legitimation of the agents. I proposed to think the subjects and their attributions of meaning that establish from the experiences, ideas and knowledge necessary to become consecrated, recognized, and remembered by the other DJs of the city. The data collected are interviews with three agents (Fil, Fran Viana and Rodrigo Lobbão), associated with the news and stories published in newspapers, websites, magazines and blogs specialized in the dissemination of local scene activities. As a result, a particular logic is perceived, in which there is a direct relation between the accumulation of knowledge, provided by the experiences of their careers, and the deference positions to the others. |
