This research aimed to provide the students of the 3rd year of high school, in a state school in Fortaleza, with comprehension of concepts of electromagnetism through the principles of the methodology proposed by the Cooperative Learning. Having as principle the development of social skills in teamwork, creating a positive interdependence, the results were influenced by the performance of the team and each student. Cooperative learning is shown to be suitable for the teaching of physics. Topics covered in this study were the magnetic field, Ampere's law, Faraday's law and electromagnetic waves. For this research the method used was the Student Team-Achievement Divisions (STAD). This research noticed comprehension of the concepts of electromagnetism, as well as the development of social skills needed to work in groups that favored the learning of concepts of electromagnetism. The final product is a handbook for Electromagnetism teaching, providing the teaching sequence, experimental practices and forms for performance record, using the methodology of Cooperative Learning. |
