Resumo: |
The study aimed mainly at understanding the effects of macroeconomic variables on the volume of real estate financing on Brazil's GDP. The choice of this credit segment was chosen in view of the evolution of the housing credit to total credit, where in 1994 the housing loans accounted for approximately 24.00% of the total granted, and in 2012 fell to 11.00%, while the personal loans increased from 9.00% to 33%, whilst also consider our high housing deficit in Brazil. However, the main evidence obtained between 2005 and 2011, from the use of panel data technique, suggest a positive relationship between educational level and number of bank branches per hundred thousand inhabitants on housing credit on GDP, and a relationship negative between inequality rate and default individuals on housing credit on GDP. Despite the variables chosen explain approximately 93% of the volume of real estate financing on GDP, when analyzing the volume of real estate financing on GDP by state, not clearly identified a disparity between the states of North and Northeast versus Midwest, South and Southeast, although the numbers of macroeconomic variables by state studied in this work show some disparities between the regions mentioned above. |
