Chemistry is a science that is characterized by studying the qualitative and quantitative aspects of matter, such as the establishment, structure, transformations, and energy involved in the transformations. This study begins with the topic of weight laws of matter, which are the foundation of Chemistry a science. It tried to work this theme if with different methodologies, combine theory with experiment in high school in search of obtaining meaningful learning, then a field survey was conducted with the use of tests and questionnaires to six classes in 1st year high school medium regular whit an average of 30 students per class, two schools in Fortaleza. By collecting data from tests and questionnaires, the results were analyzed from the perspective of learning theory of David Ausubel significant. At the end of the study if became evident that students yearn for an education that actually promote learning, such learning tends to occur when user different study methodologies, (theory combined experiment in the case) without any hierarchy between them, so that the student have more than one learning option. Of this study was extracted from an education product, a special issue on the laws of matter by weight, which aims to support the practice of teacher educators Chemistry at the thematic weight of the laws of matter. |
