Resumo: |
In a highly competitive business environment and recession of sales, one solution is to optimize production. In this context, productivity studies gain more and more space in the quest to produce more, spending less. However, studying productivity models applicable to civil construction is quite difficult, since the models for evaluating productivity are derived from the series production industry, where most working conditions are predictable, unlike the construction industry, and the amount of unknowns is extensive and quite variable. The objective of this work is to contribute scientifically to the proposal of a global productivity index capable of offering construction managers an instrument that allows the comparison between works and / or between companies in the civil construction sector. At the technical level, this work is justified by the current lack of effective tools for measuring and managing labor productivity, generating a lack of assertiveness of budgets and planning. In order to reach the objectives, the methodology of this study was divided into five phases: bibliometric study, field research, database analysis, proposition of the measurement model and interview with specialists. In the first phase of the research, the analysis of the publications will be carried out from a bibliometric survey, of quantitative and statistical character in order to obtain a base of current bibliographical revision and that covers the main studies in the thematic one. The bibliometric phase addresses the following data: authors, their respective places and institutions of origin, event and year of publication. The second phase contemplates the field research in Ceará construction companies partners of this project, in order to verify the current way in which they work in the calculation of their productivity indexes. With an in-depth analysis of the current methodology of the builders and observation of the trends worked in the national and foreign literature, it is expected to propose a measurement method capable of generating a global productivity index for residential vertical ventures in Fortaleza-CE. The third phase is an analysis of a database of an ERP, where there is data collected from various works and companies, allowing an observation of which data are most collected in the field by the managers. The fourth phase is the initial proposition of a productivity measurement method that should be tested in the later stage. This method proposes to join the observations obtained in the field, to compare them with the literature and with the analysis of the database studied. The last phase contemplates a critical analysis of the proposed method in order to validate it and make necessary adjustments. Finally, this work brings the hh/m2 indicator in its specific measurement methodology as a proposal to create a method capable of measuring the overall productivity of the vertical works' construction systems, representing the efficiency of the work execution team as a whole and making possible a comparative study between works of companies and between companies. |
