Resumo: |
Four organic residue, cattle, poultry and sheep manure and "carnaúba" straw were used in an experiment under greenhouse conditions, using a Vertic Aluvial soil, to avaluate the yield of rice plants and to study the effects on the soil properties. A completely randomized design was used with 15 treatments (3 levels of manures, NPK, gypsum + NPK and control). The highlest yield was obtained in the poultry manure treatment, followed by sheep, cattle and "carnaúba". The concentrations of nutrients, N, P, K, Ca and Mg in the plants were not effected by the treatments. There was a decrease in the soil pH but no difference was observed in the electric conductivity and exchangeable sodium in soil after the growth period. The available P and K and the percentage of organic matter increased in relations to the control, however the CEC was not affected. There were increases in amount of water at 1/3 atm but not at 15 atm. |
