Resumo: |
The present research aims to comprehend in which ways Spiritism takes action in the lives of subjects of its education, in the perspective of providing foundation to a discipline of Education for Immortality. It starts by presenting a review of literature in the areas of Health and Education, specifically regarding recent studies about death and the dying process, that involve Palliative Care and Thanatology, with the objective of demonstrating in which ways spirituality arrives, as a matter to be researched about, in the academy. From there, the research moves to the introduction to Spiritism, doctrine coded by Allan Kardec, and to the reflection over how it communicates with Phylosophy in Plato and Henri Corbin, and with Transpersonal Psychology, specially the authors Stanislav Grof and Roger Woolger. Following that, the present study unveils how Spiritism inserts itself in the paradigmatic changes of post-modernity, as expression of the Paradigm of the Spirit, which proposes the human being to be seen in its bio-psychic-spiritual multiplicity, in a constant educational process. Finally, the research presents the critic analysis of material produced in (auto) biographic research, founded in the methodology of Josso, Delory-Momberguer, Ferrarotti and Pineau, from narrative interviews with subjects that had proximity with death, being it of themselves or of close acquaintances. Lastly, the the present paper states the unfolding of Spiritism Education regarding individuals and society and concludes, demonstrating to be possible and necessary an Education for Immortality. |
