Resumo: The experiment was carried out under greenhouse conditions in order to evaluate the effect of sources and increasing doses of nitrogen on rice tillage under submerged soil and field capacity on the Iron leveI in the plant and the seeds production. The plants were raised in pots both 5,5 g of soil each one, and the treatment consisted of the combination of two levels of water, two nitrogen sources (urea and ammonium sulphate) and three doses of nitrogen (2,4 and 8 g/pot). A completely randomized design with 12 treatments and 4 controls, with 3 replicates each one in a 3x2x2 fatorial model was used. The shoot dry matter production was higher under field capacity with ammonium sulphate as nitrogen source. The highest seeds production was observed in the treatment with urea as nitrogen source (2 g) under submerged conditions. The highest nitrogen leveI in the shoots dry matter was reached with 8 g of nitrogen as ammonium sulphate under submerged conditions. The lowest Iron leveI in the shoot dry matter was reached with 2 g of nitrogen no matter the nitrogen source under field capacity.
