Resumo: |
This study has as objective to examine communication forms of retail organizations with their customers through social networking in Brazil, throught the classification of their messages in informational or conversational, under Recuero and Zago concepts (2009, 2010). It´s based on a netnografic and exploratory qualitative research, with the 13 largest retail organizations, according to the publication “Maiores e Melhores”– Revista Exame(2010). From the 17th of December 2010 to January 15, 2011, we collected all the messages sent by these organizations in their pages on Twitter. We also used the software online TweetGrader to rank the organizations according to their influence, authority and reputation among Twitter users. The research conclusion was that most organizations use Twitter as another channel for disseminate information about their products. Only 5 of 13 of the surveyed retailers organizations prioritize conversation with their customers in the tool. It was also noted that three of the four most influential organizations on Twitter, use social networking mainly to get related with their consumers. It was also found that being popular does not mean to be influential in their social networking, the organization that owns the largest amount of "followers" - with large differences in front of others - is only the sixth place among the 13 retailers of the research in relation to the influence and authority among Twitter users. |
