Resumo: These diseases endorse the growing number of hospital admissions for children by Primary Care Sensitive Conditions (CSAP), which are the most prevalent diseases in childhood and which generate the greatest number of hospital admissions in children up to 5 years of age in Brazil, such as diarrhea, asthma and pneumonia. , Which are health problems whose morbidity and mortality can be reduced through timely and effective primary care. Thus, the Primary Care Assessment Tool (PCATool), a child version, is highlighted, which evaluates by means of attributes the quality of the services offered to this population. The objective of the study is to evaluate the attributes of primary care, Integrality, Coordination of Care, Family Guidance and Community Guidance offered to children under five hospitalized for CSAP for the diagnosis of gastrointestinal diseases, asthma and pneumonia in two hospitals in Fortaleza-CE. This is a cross-sectional study with a quantitative approach. The results showed weaknesses in services and user dissatisfaction. The attributes showed poor and unsatisfactory scores. Coordination - Integration of care (4.08), Coordination - information system (5.96), Integrality - services available (4.95), Integrality - services provided (4.30), Family counseling (4.52) and Community orientation (3,36). The Coordination attribute, in its two presentations (Care Integration and Information System), found a significant association with the origin and the number of people who shared residence. The attribute Integrality (in its two presentations) presented low values of scores, where it was possible to identify that the population does not have access to services and basic orientations, demonstrating the need for changes in several spheres, professional, structural, political, among others. It can be noticed the ineffectiveness of the family and community orientation attributes that obtained low score in the health care of the child in the evaluation of the user of the primary care services, not reaching its full extent, thereby compromising the child's health care . From these findings, the nurse practitioner will be able to rethink their practice and performance within primary care. Developing a job that best meets the community and its most pressing demands. Prioritizing to maintain a close relationship with the user. The greatest limitation of the study was the realization only with the user of the service, it is necessary to allow the health professional to express himself / herself to the service's scope in the APS.
