Resumo: Industrial districts are clusters of companies associated in theory with the innovation and development policies based on clusters, locational advantages and potential locations. Companies located in industrial districts are easier to survive in the market, or even to achieve economies of scale due to the incentive policies provided by Governments, as well as the socialization of knowledge among them, facilitated by their geographical proximity, allowing a greater capacity for innovation. However, not only material resources and technical factors that play a key role, a major factor in the success of companies focuses on organizational culture, understood as basic assumptions and beliefs shared by members of an organization, positioned as cloth fund organizations, influencing the relations of employees and management decisions, The aim this study is to identify the type of organization culture prevalent in companies located in industrial districts of Maracanaú. The theoretical foundation and methodological research is applied in this type of organizational culture proposed by Cameron and Quinn (2006). This study is characterized as a descriptive, quantitative, relying on literature. The research is characterized as a survey and was conducted in a sample of 50 major companies operating in three industrial districts of Maracanaú, chosen from the number of employees. Data collection was done through a closed questionnaire, adopting a Likert scale ranging 1 to 5, with 3271 employees in the operational, administrative, technical and supervision. Data were analyzed using descriptive statistics, using appropriate software. In that context, the results indicate a general predominance of the market culture (29,15%), followed by the innovative culture (26,69%) with a lower incidence of hierarchical culture (22,48%) and clã culture (21,69%), giving support on the initial assumptions of the study. Starting from the observation of the organizational units taken alone, the study shows the predominance of cash and innovative in 39 companies.
