Resumo: ln this research, the juridical principie of Human Dignity is understood since its origin: the cristian moral. 1 this context, it is everlastingly associated to the Living right, joining it in such a way that one supports another and both are based in ethics which is interpred through Jesus Chist's teachings, the sarting point to the genuine human rights and obligation. Life and and Dignity, in fact, constitute the "essential nucleus" of all principies and rights derived from them. According to this concption, Life trespasses the physical or material element - and, even, the psychological one - to include other aspects much more important to Man, as the moral and spiritual one; consequently, the Living right would include, especially, the spiritual well bing and the individual's conscience while his physical existence were regularized by the Juridical positivity, informed by its principies. However, undcrstanding the Human 0ignity principie from its origin does not mean we are denying recognition to constant opening to juridical knowledge, ethics, as well as religious, to new readings which enclose Human Dignity under continuous succession of happenings that emerge from history. Thus, in order to exemplify such reality, we should mention the social function of property was being gradually publicized in constitucional and doctrinal terms, in such a way to include nowadays an environmental goal (inclusively). However, enormous challenges to the concretization of Human dignity principie may still be faced: and this is done, not only because of the non-obedience of the rules to wich they are subjected, but also dueto - many others things - indiscriminate use of advanced technology to intervene in Man's Life, unknowing or banalizing his Dignity.
