Sentimentos dos pacientes por ocasião da suspensão de suas cirurgias em um Hospital de Manaus

Study it tried to center our proposal in the patienfs feelings as being in the world that had its suspended surgery. It was objectfied to understand these feelings, of 36 patienfs speeches selected by interest, from the related ones in the surgery programs of a public teaching hospital at the University of Amazonas. These patient were interviewed in the Instituition up to 24 hours after the suspension of its surgeries. The data were collected in June and July of 1998 and abtained starting from a semi-srtuctured route, contends the main question tell me what you felt when knew about the suspension of its surgery. The speeches were organized interpreted, in a phenomenology understanding, and it was taken as beses the expressed thoughts of MERLEAU-PONTY in its work Phenomenology of the perception. The understood phenomenon is represented by five categories of feelings: fear, anxiety and concern, indignation, frustation and resgnation. It ends with the reflection on the human beings understanding in its existential contexts, its doubts, its expectations and its thoghts in the be-in-world purpose in that what represents.
