Resumo: |
In the present work we study the light scattering on a metalic film with grating surface. We calculated the reflection coefficient from this film using the Rayleigh's method. We observed the excitation of surface polaritons on the film through the minimum of the reflection coefficient. Our results are compared with the perturbation theory. We concluded that the Rayleigh's method gives more 'consistent results when we compare these results with those obtained using perturbation theory. |
