Resumo: The teaching of science in the initial grades of schooling in Brazil is historically recent and has encountered many obstacles in order to fulfill its role as a constructor of citizenship. Even in this short period of life, it has undergone several changes in the wake of the various educational reform attempts of the 1950s to the present. One of the great problems has been the initial formation of the teacher, who at the infantile level, is nowadays formed in the courses of Pedagogy, that very concerned with the disciplines of theoretical foundation of the Pedagogy, offer insufficient training in the contents that the future professor will have to teach. From then on many misconceptions are propagated in the classroom, and many of our children are exposed to myths and misconceptions, often propagated by the teacher's own textbooks and endorsed by the teacher, hostage of the didactic material given their poor formation. The present work aims to propose a didactic material, written based on the misconceptions most pointed by the researches in the area, oriented to the improvement of the teacher training.
