Valores do trabalho e satisfação no serviço público: um estudo na seccional da Justiça Federal no Ceará

Resumo: This study aims to analyze the relationships between work values and job satisfaction of staff who work in service to society in the Federal Court in Ceará, so it can help developing strategies and actions to improve the people management service in the area of user servicescitizen, contributing to quality in service delivery to the citizen to identify people who have certain work values that influence their job satisfaction and, in this condition, favoring the answering service. Through this research also seeks the promotion of training and development of judges and the institution servers in order to develop skills that can improve their job performance. The study was characterized as a quantitative and descriptive of your goals and was accomplished through an electronic survey, whose results were analyzed by the statistical technique of Structural Equation Modeling. The results confirmed that there is a positive relationship between social values relating to work relationships and job satisfaction, as well as a positive relationship between values of prestige and job satisfaction, although less expressive. There is a negative relationship between the values of job stability and satisfaction and that there is no relationship between the values of professional fulfillment and job satisfaction. It is intended that this study will contribute to knowledge and discussion about the importance of the influence of work values on job satisfaction for professional performance and improving the quality of care provided to citizens, to stimulate interest in further research on the theme and promote new policies and practices in the area of personnel management of the institution analyzed.
