Resumo: |
This study aimed to verify the effectiveness and prospects of inclusion – access, autonomy and permanence – targeted to people with disabilities in public institutions of higher education in the Metropolitan Region of Cariri – MRC. To complete this study, which had as a priority the recording and analysis of the situation found some clippings and a brief historical survey of the legislation were necessary. This is a case study that supports the analysis of documents and, in order not to be restricted to data extracted from official records, broadens your field when using semi-structured interviews with key stakeholders, today, inclusion in higher education in the RMC and applying technical poetics with university students with disabilities. By crossing the results with the specific objectives of the research, we note that the official documents of the institutions still need to be worked best when they focus accessibility issues, especially in setting goals and more concrete deadlines. The PDIs of UFC and the campus Juazeiro IFCE already more elaborated but still need more defined deadlines. The other institutions are beginners, without goals established directly in PDI today main yardstick of investment, without which almost any action is doomed to invisibility. |
