Resumo: Studies on geodiversity are fundamental to understanding natural and anthropogenic changes in the natural environment, particularly when identifying geological heritage in a region, in addition to proposing conservation measures and scientific dissemination for society. In addition to proposing conservation measures and scientific dissemination for society. The Takutu Basin region was chosen for the study due to its significant geological importance and potential for scientific dissemination. The study had the following objectives: to select geological sites in the Takutu Basin, Roraima, with a view to developing scientific dissemination material; to prepare an inventory of geological sites in the Takutu Basin; to analyze potential educational and tourist uses of the sites; and to produce teaching materials for scientific dissemination. The inventory was prepared based on consultation of information in the literature and interviews with researchers, qualitative evaluation, field survey and quantitative evaluation, and classification of geosites and geodiversity sites according to typology. The geological categories defined for the inventory were: a) Pre-rift; b) Rift; c) Syneclise; and d) Quaternary deposits and relief evolution. The sites were selected due to their scientific potential and educational use. The main causes of degradation include the extraction of material for civil construction, the opening of side roads, the expansion of monoculture areas and, mainly, the lack of knowledge about the importance of these sites for science and the memory of the Earth. In addition to the vulnerability caused by human action, aspects of natural vulnerability were also identified, such as river flooding. The materials produced in this dissertation (one of a more technical nature, a guide to geodiversity, and another aimed at the general public, an interactive map), will be made available to teachers at UFRR and other educational institutions so that they can be passed on to students, or explained during classroom and/or field classes. Other perspectives regarding the material are the development and promotion of actions (courses, workshops, debates, joint actions, etc.) for broad dissemination of the geodiversity of the Basin, in order to bring a look at the theme of geoconservation. Therefore, it is necessary to carry out more studies involving this theme in the state of Roraima since the state has, in addition to study possibilities applied in quantitative analyses, the possibility of applying studies relating the population, indigenous communities and the natural environment through ecosystem services
