Resumo: |
A historical review of the origins and development of the Public Health Policies, occurred in the State of Ceará, is held within a socio-political and economic of the country as a whole, becoming first, an overall analysis of the Health Policy several countries, including Brazil. Later studies establish a parallel between what happens in the more developed states (Rio de Janeiro and São Paulo) and Ceará, highlighting the differences in social changes and their impact on health policy. The development of these policies in the State of Ceará and presented, taking as reference the state agency responsible for the same state. The paper is structured in five chapters, whose topics range from the emergence of public health as a state action, to health reform advocated by the 1988 Brazilian Constitution |
