The hospitals use various tools to assist in management. One of these indicators is the hospital occupancy rate, which measures the relationship between the number of patient-days and the number of bed-days during a given period. Understanding the behavior of the hospital occupancy rate of identifying trends and seasonality is the main objective of this work. The institution selected for this study offer these services to the SUS, private and Covenant. As each category has its peculiarities, this study sought models that best fit the series in occupancy rates and obtained the following results: the agreement to form ARIMA (2,1,2), particularly for ARMA (1,1 ) to SUS AR (1) and the total load factor AR (1). In all modes were identified presence of seasonality in some months, with the model of the total load factor that showed this feature. Also in all series, the month of February was the one that showed a lower occupancy rate. |
