Resumo: |
The Covid-19 pandemic has caused drastic changes in all areas of society, especially in the field of Education, whose teaching methodology has changed from face-to-face to remote, due to social isolation. The advent of Emergency Remote Teaching (ERE) has led teachers and students to try new didactic-methodological teaching and learning formats, mediated by Digital Information and Communication Technologies (TDIC). This compelling transition to remote classes resulted in a massive production of Digital Educational Resources (RED). Due to this unusual growth, it was questioned how teachers would be using and preserving the RED they produced. Thus, the present research intends to analyze the process through which the application and preservation of the RED produced by professors occurred in the Health area at the Federal University of Ceará, in order to attend the Emergency Remote Teaching in the context of the Covid-19 pandemic. In terms of methodological procedures, the present study is an applied and field research, with a qualitative and quantitative approach, being exploratory and descriptive according to its objectives, and documental, bibliographic and survey according to its procedures. In terms of findings, some problems faced by students and teachers during the ERE were identified, such as: low level of digital literacy, digital exclusion, and socio-emotional pressure. However, methodologies were re-adapted, tools and platforms were experimented, and inclusive/collaborative activities were implemented, and thus, gradually, the teaching and learning process was returning to the (new) normal. It was observed that there was an increasement in the publication of studies regarding remote teaching and RED, however, there are few publications regarding their preservation. It was also found that the preservation of these RED carried out by professors does not follow the recommended standards to guarantee long-term access. In conclusion, this research recommends the adoption of digital platforms and repositories for the adequate storage and preservation of the RED produced. |
