Resumo: |
The aim of this study was to compare Electrical Myographic Impedance (IEM) responses under different conditions of muscle fatigue. Fifteen women participated in the study (age 23.8 ± 2.1, 60.9 ± 9.5 kg, 163 ± 0.07 cm). There were 3 conditions, RF Maximum Repetition (RM), and control (CC). Before and after the conditions were received Countermovement Vertical Jump (CVJ), Blood Lactate (LAC) and IEM. For a comparison between the conditions we used variance of analysis measures (ANOVA), with the significance accepted for P<0.05. For CVJ it showed significant reductions only in the RM condition. For LAC, both conditions had a significant increase, but the increase in the RM condition was higher (P < 0.001). For EIM represented significant at the end of all electrical RM and RF. No differences were observed between RM and RF, but differences were observed between RM and CC, and RF and CC at some points. Our data show that IEM was not able to identify muscle fatigue under different conditions in strength training. |
