Access to the educational system needs to be made possible for everyone with quality education, being an indispensable requirement for the promotion of social justice in a democratic, fair and inclusive. The legal confirmation of the importance of education is evidenced in the Federal Constitution of 1988 and regulated in Law nº 9.394/1996. This research brings a historical context from colonialism on central issues related to the history of the Afro-Brazilian people, addressing doctrinal views on racism, race and ethnicity. Afterwards, it performs the context of the theme directed to legal education. Thus, this research has the general objective of analyzing the implementation of Afro-Brazilian history and culture in legal education in the Municipality of Macapá, state of Amapá, after the edition of Resolution nº 05/2018 of the Ministry of Education/Conselho Nacional de Educação/ Chamber of Higher Education. It presents as a theoretical foundation conceptual aspects of higher education, history of law and public policies aimed at continuing education and qualification of law professors. This is an applied study with a qualitative approach. As for the objectives, the methodology is descriptive analysis of data collected from samples through semi-structured interviews, which were used as a technique and transcribed for extracting the indicated surveys. The research population is composed of professors, all of whom work in Law Schools in the city of Macapá/AP and the sample is intentional. The collection instrument will be the interview, which was built with semi-structured questions and divided into blocks. |
