Resumo: |
In this work, four optical architectures are proposed and numerically analyzed for the generation of subcarriers based on Mach-Zehnder interferometer with feedback and phase modulation. The first two systems have only one phase modulator and can generate 47 and 61 optical subcarriers, with power fluctuations of approximately 7 and 12 dB, respectively. The first system still stands out because it has 23 subcarriers with textit flatness of only 1,5 dB. To achieve a greater number of streaks a modulator is added in the third and fourth systems, so the third system produces 97 subcarriers with flatness of 7 dB, while the fourth system generates 105 subcarriers with flatness of 13 dB. The proposed systems were designed for integrated photonics, however, numerical simulations have show that these are also feasible in discrete optical systems. All systems were compared with architectures available in the literature, the advantages and disadvantages of the systems will be discussed in the course of the work, the systems can be applied in Radio on Fiber and Elastic Optical Networks. |
