Resumo: | Our research is a result of the Master's Degree held in the Post-Graduate Program in Brazilian Education, conducted in the Research Group - Public Policies: history and discourse that integrates the Research Line - History and Politics of Education aims to analyze the discourse on the role of women in the context of the “Mulheres Mil” Program, aiming at a discussion about the public policies directed towards guaranteeing the social participation of women, considering that currently women do not yet have the same men, and although we have advanced with regard to women's rights, there is still a devaluation in relation to their work, considered as maternal, linked to the domestic sphere. This makes it difficult for them to enter the labor market and guarantee financial gains. Our main source of research was official documents that regulate and normalize the “Mulheres Mil” Program. For the organization and analysis of the discourses materialized in the documents, our research was guided by the theoretical-methodological reference of Discourse Analysis of French origin affiliated to Pêcheux, who conceives the discourse as articulation between language, history and ideology. The “Mulheres Mil” program emerged based on a set of priorities of the public policies and directives of the foreign policy of the Brazilian Government, the need to minimize the devaluation of women and the inequalities between women and men, because both society and international bodies pressure on the Brazilian government. We consider that the senses produced by the “Mulheres Mil” Program discourses point to women as collaborators / multipliers of ideas and knowledge that can contribute to soften the situation of vulnerability of the vast majority of families, reducing the pressure on the government. |
