Resumo: The data analyzed comprised part of October 2013 (the month of Disdrometer installation) extending to May 2014, totaling 3737 minutes of rainfall intensity, the radar reflectivity, kinetic energy and drop diameter. In order to get statistically significant results, according to pre-established limits on research, data analysis, multiple regression, probability density function, function of frequency and occurrences, which allowed to identify the predominant intensity of rain were applied, the time higher frequency and the expression that relates the intensity of the rain and the effective reflectivity of weather radar. The general equation for the total of the data set, the ZR relationship was found, Z=123.3 R1,27 (r2 = 0.91), the coefficient a values in the present study were lower and b showed strong similarity to those found by Moraes (2003). These rains had their greatest frequency during the morning and early in the morning (00-10h), which may be justified due to the intensification of weather systems that reach the coast of Alagoas, the land breeze circulation occurring near the coast during the overnight. Analyzing the frequency of occurrence of the rain intensity is determined that the intensity (R ≤ 4 mmh-1) were recorded by the instrument with drop diameters ranging from 0.2 1,3 mm.
