Resumo: | The present study is characterized as an exploratory qualitative research that assumes as objective to analyze the therapeutic itineraries of patients with severe and persistent mental disorders in the context of Alagoas’ semi-arid. The therapeutic itineraries allow to comprehend the ways of care produced by subjects, from the intersection of formal and informal devices of care, from the wide notion of health and from the Brazilian psychiatric reform principles. The study was conducted with subjects from the city of Jaramataia, located in the State of Alagoas’ semi-arid, users of the mental health public service in the county, being four users, two females and two males, adults and with persistent and severe mental disorder diagnostics. The research was developed in three phases: the first one consisted in a bibliographic review and critic reading of several works about the relation between therapeutic itineraries and mental health; the second phase was based on the insertion of the researcher in the community, the production of information through surveys and semi structured interviews, data that were analyzed in the third and last phase through the speech analysis method. The senses produced in this study are related with other Works found in the literature that indicate the existence of a reality where the public health system is scarce and distant from each other, making unfeasible the access to the users, indicating a wide picture of vulnerabilities, that keep the psychic suffering; weakening of social and communitarian bonds; welfare in the attention to the population’s mental health; massive medicalization of life; weakening of the psychosocial attention network (PSAN) and low density of well-being devices in the researched territory. We expand the comprehension about the social cut studied, as we evoke new problems, such as conditions of life, gender and country women’s mental health and the chronification of mental health services in the rural territories, beyond the professional formation in psychology, many times distant from the specificities in a context that questions the legitimacy of the presence of a traditional clinic knowledge in the attention to mental health in Alagoas’ semi-arid. |
