Civil construction has been through a growth moment at same time impressive and scary. ISO 9001 and PBQP-H Standards are implemented and the Construction business’ are forced to demonstrate that the standards established are being followed. The high quality construction buildings are a demand and these pathways have to meet public needs’ which have been a constant in the construction business. Constructors from Alagoas are not different; they try to reach high quality standards that not only follow the rules, but that enhance and brings continuous improvements to its building process. Therefore, this paper has the objective to analyze the project and development practices in conformity within 7.3 standard in ISO 9001 and PBQP-H, in construction business’ in Alagoas, checking out the ways of doing it and how´s is being done the validation process, including improvement proposals. Beginning with a literature review where the most important concepts about quality management system´s in civil construction were presented as well as its relation within the project development, considered from the planning until its version control, it was presented a experimental study that results in a analyses of the procedures presented in each visit. An exploratory study was taken, and the results were transformed into an analysis of 3 Constructor Business’ procedures in Alagoas. The most important difficulties that were reached at the project and development stages were identified and brief orientations on possible ways of improvement were presented in a procedure and in a spreadsheet format. The most important results of this paper were related to the procedures analysis, the form of project validation identification and the development of related spreadsheets as an improvement opportunity of project and development. Therefore, the construction business’ researched are trying to implement procedures of Project development that meet ISO 9001 standards, nevertheless not always those pattern are related to the project and brings satisfactory results. There are some procedures that have not been adjusted and the project validation format is clear, where some non conformities can take place while being audited.
