Resumo: | This research is situated at the interface of applied linguistics and textual, adopts an ethnographic perspective and aims to reflect on the general mechanisms of reference in the writing of middle school students based on the reference design as interactional and discursive activity, taking based on the reflections of Koch (2004, 2009, 2010) as well as other textual linguistics. In this sense, we seek to intelligibilities issues of writing that always disturbed us as teachers of Portuguese, such as text incoherent and without cohesion. Data for this research were generated in a public school in the state schools, located in the town of Palmeira dos Índios, interior of Alagoas. The texts analyzed produced in two stages: one in 2011 and another in 2012. From this general goal, we had the following objectives: to analyze the use of referential elements in the production of students, identify the most frequent referral mechanisms in yields and analyze the implications of production conditions for writing cohesive texts. This is a qualitative research, where we have chosen the case study as a methodological procedure. |
