Resumo: | This research aims to investigate, through the work with the multiliteracy inserted in the Portuguese Language classes, the promotion of changes in what concerns to the reading and writing practices of the students of the 9th grade A of Elementary SchoolGrade of a school of the state public network of Maceió. The basic theories were the works of ROJO (2012), STECANELA (2009), GOMES (2011), ANDRÉ (2015) and ANTUNES (2010). The methodology of the research is ethnographic and the data were generated from the development of a didactic sequence. The following instruments were used: student narratives, photographs, audio recordings and teacher's logbook. The data revealed students personal stories have a deep relationship with their school life and, once taken into account in the proposed activities, have brought encouraging results regarding the use of languages for self expression. Concerningto Portuguese language teaching, the activities developed showed that students made good use of digital media, cell phones, photo and video editing applications and social networks, showing that Portuguese language school and teaching cannot keep away from current modes and media. |
