Resumo: | This study presents the results of a qualitative investigation about pedagogical mediation of the tutor and authorship of the student of the Bachelor in Public Administration Distance (ADMP) offered through the National Program for Public Administration (PNAP) of the University System opened from Brazil (UAB) at Federal University of Alagoas (UFAL). This research started questioning: Does the mediation of tutor contribute to the academic output of the student's course ADMP? Seeking answer to this question was delimited the focus of this research, we aimed to analyze the relationship between the mediation of the tutor and the academic output of the student's course of ADMP / UAB / UFAL / PNAP; check whether the pedagogical mediations tutors foster academic production; identify elements that interfere with the pedagogical mediation of tutor; verify that the tutor needs the support of the teacher to carry out the mediation with the students and the tutor is essential in all course subjects researched. The methodology used in online qualitative research was the case study based on Gray (2012) and content analysis was performed using recommendations by Bardin (2011) elements. Survey data refer to the period 2012-2013 and for the data collection, two separate questionnaires were applied: (a) student and (b) tutor, both consisting of closed multiple choice questions; interview with online tutors and course coordinator researched were performed. Messages posted to the Virtual Learning Environment (VLE) course, in order to confront the answers given by students and tutors in the questionnaires and interviews were also observed. The sample for the questionnaires included 53 active students of the Bachelor of ADMP UFAL class of 2009, students from four centers located in Alagoas and 11 of the said course tutors online. The criteria adopted for the selection of participants or active student tutor of the disciplines offered by the students of the Bachelor of ADMP in the period 2012 and 2013 were to be the result of fied research indicates that the optimization of the work of the tutor who holds the online pedagogical mediation , aimed at student academic production is directly related: the technical training of the tutor, of the time the tutor have available to meet students, quality of teaching, quality of learning materials and learner support material, the quality of the AVA, quality of technological infrastructure, administrative infrastructure and physica available to students and the degree of closeness between teacher and tutor. |
