Resumo: This dissertation discuss the environmental problematic, under point of view from social theory of Karl Marx, trough the interpretation of István Mészáros about the most recent developments of capital system. We show the limits of vision “ecocenters” (Foladori), highlighting the fundamental divergence of premises with the marxian theory, strengthening the historical summary realized subsequently about the means of environmental policies to capital system, from first manifestations of environmental protections, in the late of XIX century, to the measures realized in the laste five decades of structural crisis of capital. We can see in sequence what is capital, searching to understand it as a social relation, first, uncovering its innermost laws that marks it since appearance, and second, to explain its spreading over the world, assumed as a omnipotent power of current social system, with the state as a necessary complemente for its reproduction. Thereby, we will see the capital system opposes to most elementary human needs about nature conservation, mainly when get in its most recent inflexive stage: its structural crisis reveals this system of production only can reproduce itself in the presente historical moment with the background of na inseparable relation between its own reproduction and the environmental devastation.
