Resumo: |
Knowing the crystalline structure of a mineral, considering its geographic location and geological formation, is an important step concerning to the increasing of new perspectives of their utilization, due to the fact that every mineral has its own specificities. In this work, three samples from the Amazon region were analyzed by X-Ray Fluorescence (XRF) to determine the elements contained in the samples; Scanning Electronic Microscopy (SEM), microanalysis and map for analysis of superficial aspects, of the difference of the composition and location of elements; X-Ray Diffraction in the continuous scanning way for previous identification of the phases contained and step scanning to make the refinement in the analysis of the data using the Rietveld Method through the DBWS-9807a, so the identified phases were Quartz, Xenotime and Thorite. |
