Resumo: | This paper analyzes the social representations of the body established in the minds of masters students linked to post-graduate programs strict sensu in physical education in public universities in the State of Parana. Taken as a study objects by means of social representations the body, we believe that the him are summaries of the dimensions of the professional of physical education and representations that circulate in the social imaginary. The theory of social representations proposed by Moscovici (2005), provided the basic theoretical conditions for the object order to grasp investigative, and technical analysis of the speech, Orlandi (1996), allowed the processing of date collected through semi-structured interview with the thirteen masters students linked to programs that integrate research. It was constructed as the central representation of a body in health and functional ruled as peripheral system, the following aspects: a) health-related functionality body, healthy lifestyle and physical activity; b) continuing education, the relationship between undergraduate school; c) professional intervention guided by the field of fitness center; d) displacement of sense imposed on the social role of the personal trainer; e) body desire / dream. The research results show that the representations of the body mestrandas still supported in everyday relationships and discourses that are intertwined in and by society in which the perfect body - lean and / or molded/ healed - remains the social standard of beauty.. |
