Resumo: | This research project aims verify the relationship between The Economy of Communion (EoC) businesses from the Industrial Park Spartaco and the bureaucratic organization model. This model also called bureaucracy can be observed by six characteristics or dimensions, within the companies that adopt it: hierarchy of authority, division of labor, presence of rules, procedural specifications, impersonality and technical competence. In spite being considered predominant in the current organizations by its results, the bureaucratic model has a number of flaws referring overall, the effects that if produces in the everyday life of the employees that follow it as a Management mode. There were several attempts to change this model, because the bureaucracy characteristics seem to disagree with 'more humanized' approaches as to the company employees. But in the practice, will the companies that place the man as the center of their activities, broke with the bureaucratic organization model? In order to verify this relationship among the companies with differentiated Management approaches and bureaucracy, we opted to study the Economy of Communion Companies, integrated in the Industrial Park Spartaco, located in Cotia, São Paulo State, just because due to Economy of Communion Companies have as to their action purposes, and among them to place the man as the center of their production activities, the men and the common good. Through applied questionnaires among the employees of the 8 companies selected for the research and several data crossings, with specific information like position, education, employed time, sex and sector the companies belong to, we have verified that the bureaucracy is present i all the studied companies. We have also verified that in some groups the bureaucracy is perceived more clearly than by others, like those in Management positions, that perceive less bureaucracy in comparison with other non-Management positions. Besides tat, the industrial sector companies the bureaucracy was strong than in the service sector. At last, the bureaucratization degree of all the companies studied, was considerate moderate, i.e., it did not have strong trends neither to the top nor to the bottom. Thus, it was possible to conclude that the Economy of Communion businesses from the Industrial Park Spartaco aim a bigger concern with their employees and do not reject the organization bureaucratic model but recognize to apply this model to reach the economical goals of the companies. However, the companies have differentiated Management purposes, the Economy of Communion approach does not coincide with a high level of bureaucratization that reflected in the moderate degree of bureaucratization found in the companies studied. |
