Resumo: | Currently there is an increasing demand for automatic control systems. These systems usually aim to improve the steering and guiding systems of the aircrafts. Thus, before being implemented in an aircraft these systems need to go through several tests and simulations. This work presents the design of an autopilot for the Cessna 182 which contributes to the improvement of these systems, in general. The implementation of the controllers associated with the autopilot is carried out in a microcontroller in order to facilitate its simulation. The communication between the aircraft devices is implemented through a data communication network. Thus, the information processed by the controllers is directly sent to the control surfaces of the aircraft represented by the flight simulator. A case study was under taken where the autopilot was submitted to several flight conditions. The results obtained from the simulations show that aircraft was kept stable throughout the flights. |
