Resumo: | This descriptive study aimed to characterize the theoretical character Social Technology as a tool for promoting inclusion and generation of employment and income, as well as promoting a diagnosis and a reflection on the social technologies developed in Brazil and assess how and to what extent the State, through the promotion of Science, Technology and Innovation agencies, has supported/promoted actions and projects to this issue. The documentary survey from management reports and websites of the research funding and organizations linked to the development of Social Technology in Brazil agency, brought data that, after evaluated by the method of content analysis and critical theory science and technology reveal the scant participation of development agencies in the development of Social technology and still characterize the few initiatives found as isolated actions, palliative, discontinued and concentrated in some regions of the country and highlights the participation of civil society organizations in the study and development of the theme. As conclusion, we highlight the challenges and paradigms of Social Technology, adopted as public policy and emphasize the need for greater involvement of the state in promoting/encouraging the development of this technology as a means of minimizing the social vulnerability. |
