Resumo: | This papers explored the analysis of the aspects fundamentals to study transient heat and mass transfer in transient (drying process) in textile fibers. The evolution of technology and mathematical optimization allowed to contribute more precise parameters in determining of thermal conductivity to the fabric and mass diffusivity of water in fabrics (porous medium), specifically for the mesh polyester and cotton textile, and cotton woven plan, in order to behave better efficiency in the drying process applications ranging from domestic to industrial scale. The methodology focused on developing drying an experiment with low-cost materials, supported by a prototyping platform basic (Arduino) in communication to Matlab, requiring only a semi-analytical balance for good tolerance. The mathematical model that proposed for heat and mass transfer equations presented a positive assertiveness between experimental data and theoretical values achieved by the approximation of the thermal conductivity for textile fibers of the polyester (ktec = 0.1468 W/mK) and the cotton (ktec = 0.2257 W/mK) as values found in most often of the literature being around 0.14 for polyester fibers and 0.16 W/mK for cotton fibers. |
