Resumo: | The agricultural sector of Campo Mourão and neighboring cities is dependent on large areas and is also a great observer of technologies, both chemical and mechanical. When installed in the 1960s, adversely affected the maintenance of small farms, which lost ground in the agrarian structure and had compromised its economic viability. In the new millennium, however, the small production units eventually won new economic and social function, the role of producer associations, cooperatives, credit schemes and marketing of production. Studying the maintenance of small property family Campo Mourão and his living together with the properties compromised in agribusiness constitutes the main objective of this work. In its context, the paper aims to demonstrate that the smallholding is economically feasible, but that depends on state support and mechanisms to put their products in urban space. |
