This work is itself a case study conducted in the municipality of Floresta/PR in respect of conditions of management of municipal solid waste in the municipality. To remove the data from this process, visits were made in place, used questionnaires to those responsible for the direct process, and a search in the technical literature and science. The council had some failures in the management of municipal solid waste: failures occur during the collection (irregular packaging and lack of a roadmap for the collection), transport (routes inadequate collection) and the final destination (the opening of mass graves without sizing stipulated in the design, frequency of sporadic coverage with inert material, lack of standing stock of the area surrounding the landfill, lack of careful study to choose the place of disposal, the no recovery of degraded areas of the former landfill and the lack of planning for the provision of rubble and RCD's). The data were organized and used for future research grants - since no data had previously searched the city and organized.
