Among these new risks and challenges there is need to project management that addresses the peculiarities of software development for mobile devices context. This work presents an approach to software project management for mobile devices that aims to bring the project manager in the recent development context and provide a material to support the project manager in planning and implementation of mobile applications. The approach involves a framework with topics including project management, mobile technologies, mobile business, agile methods and the socio-technical aspects with interaction in the areas of human resource, risk and cost management. The approach way evaluated according to followed the principles of experimental engineering on the academic perspective, by analyzing applicability and efficiency by researchers software project management.
