Resumo: | The years of 1950s and 1960s was characterized by a lot of political fights in Brazil. In this context, the rural labor has an important role because of the growing process of organization and resistance against the employee's everyday and because of the fight for more space in the State politic. The objective of this research is to analyze the interface in the two fields presented before: the field of organization and the field of the search for space in political representation. For this, was analyzed how was constituted the debate in the parliament and between the organizations of rural labor about the labor legislation for rural questions and related to Agrarian Reform. The study was realized with sources of the Public Filling of Rio de Janeiro State (APERJ). It was investigated many dossiers elaborated by the Delegacy of Social and Political Order (DOPS). In the period studied was privatized some sources which gave political and social visibility for the rural employees, such as the communist press: "Voz Operária", "Novos Rumos", "Imprensa Popular" e o "Terra Livre", the last one emphasize exclusively rural questions. It was concluded that the 1950 e 1960 decades was characterized by the organization of the rural labor in union and a wide political discussion about social and economical conditions of the employees, about the extension of the labor legislation for the rural questions and about Agrarian Reform. |
