Resumo: | This thesis aims to analyze the arguments and metaphors of images and texts circulating in the dengue prevention posters in Brazil, in the state of Paraná and in Maringá between 2000 and 2011. As methodological procedures we use the argumentative analysis based on studies of Perelman and Olbrechts-Tyteca. Of the 35 signs found, 12 were analyzed as five national, 3 state signs, 2 municipal signs and 2 signs from a private companies in the region of Maringá. It was concluded that the metaphor of war as a combat is present in almost all the posters, because it is an immediate solution to an emergency situation. Just like the use of colors, fonts, images and arguments that were found on the analyzed posters. The responsibility for the care of people with dengue prevention and mosquito assignment as villain this kinds of arguments are also found on analyzed posters. Finally, there are posters which use the nationalist ideas, patriot, in order to move the population to disease prevention. |
