Resumo: The present dissertation is a study carried out in the holding of the writer Eulálio de Miranda Motta, aiming to elaborate the edition of the poetry book Luzes do crepúsculo. The poems’ manuscripts were preserved in a notebook that had the same name of the book. In this notebook, Eulálio Motta rewrited texts, made some corrections, amendments and he organized 23 texts written between the years 1934 to 1968. From the study done in the author’s holding, it was found a new index prepared in 1977 in the notebook Diário de um João Ninguém that counts with 9 titles of unpublished texts, but 2 of them were not found. In addition, there were 6 new detached poems written later, in 1979, with indication they would integrate the book and plus 3 texts which were published in the book Canções do meu caminho, 2° edition. The edited corpus consists in 39 poems written between the years 1934 to 1979. It was identified one-witnessed and multi-witnessed texts. In order to do the study of the authorial variants, it was chosen to do a critical-genetic edition, because it would satisfy the editions’ purpose and also the singularities of the texts, being this editorial model the most suitable for showing the writing movement of the texts. The method used for the edition and the kind of study comes from Philology, in its disciplines Textual Criticism and Genetic Criticism, that when articulated, dialog in order to favor the study of genesis. The research is based on the theoretical contributions of Textual Criticism (SPAGGIARI and PERUGI, 2004, SPINA, 1994), of Genetic Criticism (BIASI, 1997; GRÉSILLON, 2007), of studies on writers' holdings and their contribution to the literary universe (ARTIERÈS, 1998; BORDINI, 2009; MARQUES, 2003; 2007), the theoretical approaches related to the sociology of the text (CHARTIER, 2005a, 2006, MCKENZIE, 2005). In addition to the areas of study already mentioned, the history of the writing practices’ culture (BARREIROS, 2015, CHARTIER, 2002) and the criteria established for the edition of Eulálio Motta’s texts (BARREIROS, 2012, 2015, SANTOS, 2017)
