This work represents our contribution to disseminate Brazilian Physics in the classroom. It consists of a qualitative research about the insertion of topics of Particle Physics through a conceptual approach, particularly the first proposal of Yukawa for strong interaction, from the history of the discovery of the π meson with the contributions of the brazilian scientist, César Lattes. The research consisted in the elaboration, application and evaluation of a didactic sequence based on the theory of significant learning of David Ausubel
