Resumo: The theme of inclusion of students that needs special educational is usually linked to problems or disabilitys and, commonly, among teachers, students with High Abilities/Giftness are not seen as a special education public. In order to change this reality, this work proposes that the knowledge on the subject be inserted from the beginning of the formation, since it is supposed to teachers to make the necessary adjustments to develop the potential of these students. The laws recognize individuals with high habilities as a target of audience for special education and provides specialized educational service to all students who need it. However, among the teachers there are almost no proposals with curricular adjustments that helps this group of students are discussed. Therefore, this work aimed to contribute to the initial training of teachers in the Biological Sciences course regarding the theme of high habilities/ giftness, through the intervention of a remote format course. The methodology adopted for this study was participatory research. The research subjects were fifteen graduates of the Biological Sciences-Licentiate course at UNICENTRO, Guarapuava-PR. In the end of the reseach, it was noticed that the course contributed significantly to initial teacher training, expanding the participants' perspectives on the high habilities/ giftness theme. In general, the undergraduates were positively surprised and interested in the subject addressed and in the significant advances in relation to the concepts and knowledge initially demonstrated. Another result of the pedagogical intervention was the elaboration of the e-book that includes strategies and methodologies to help teachers in their professional practice in relation to the teaching-learning process of the high habilities/ giftness theme.
