Resumo: |
The present work had as general objective to understand the trajectory of rural women who integrate the Bananas Settlement, located in the municipality of Guarapuava (PR). In this sense, we seek to analyze the contribution of women to th e social development of the researched settlement. By dialoguing about the social roles of gender in the struggle for land, we seek to develop a research in line with th e feminist literature, of a qualitative nature, carried out from the methodology proposed by Oral History, having as a data collection instrument the interviews with five women who are part of the Association of Rural Producers of the Bananas Settlement, which belongs to the aforementioned settlement. The interviews were audio-recorded, with the authorization of the women, and transcribed. For the analysis of the research, we started with the historical construction of the settlement, as well as the analysis of indicators listed by the researcher, which allowed an approximation with the reality experienced by women. In this way, we found that the representation of women in food production – whether for commercialization or for self-consumption – is one of the fundamental elements for the reproduction and strengthening of social relations established in the settlement. For women, work is more than a way of guaranteeing family support, it is seen as a network of access to exercise their autonomy and protagonism, factors that have their interface with the processes of struggle and resistance of women in spaces of participation. place. |
