Resumo: |
The object of study in our research is the discourse of immigration and the discourses that constitute and sustain the social formation in Entre Rios, a Swabian immigrants community, in Guarapuava, Pr. The general aim of our analysis is the interpretation of the colonies constitution, through the "Old" and the "New" Homeland, by the places and institutions that keep the double in the same space. The specific aims are: seeking for the effects of meanings that resonate from the Swabian immigration speeches that derive from the Historical Museum of Entre Rios (here as MH) and that mark the conflit/match/dismatch between the "Old" and "New" Homeland; establishing the relationship between the `imagined community` of Entre Rios and Guarapuava to verify if the physical location of the subject constitute the identification with the Homeland- Brazil; analyzing the museum as a place that interprets and controls the moving senses in the space of immigration, seeking for the functioning of the language taught at school, which circulates in the monuments, maps and signs, holding / legitimizing two places / homelands in one place. The research questions arising from the proposed objectives and that will be answered throughout this research are: 1) How, in/through language, is the discourse in the immigration place constituted? 2) Which institutional memories and spaces sustain the "Old" Homeland in what is named "New" Homeland? 3)What effects of meanings are present in the conflit/match/dismatch between the "Old" and the "New" Homeland? The conductor line of the research is formed, therefore, by discourses that emanate from the Historical Museum MH, considering that he interprets and controls the senses of what is referred to as "New" Homeland, from what presents itself as belonging to the "Old "Motherland. The fractions made meet the discursive movements around the "Old" and "New" Homeland and the research path began with visits to the area of immigration in question and to the MH. This space awakened us more attention as a possible object of research, during the celebrations of 60 years of the Swabian immigration Swabian in Entre Rios, in January 2012. We investigated bibliographic references about AD and its articulations with concepts and notions that are important to us, such as: urban space, heritage, archive, institutions, imagined communities, identities, subjects, ideology, memory, remembrance / celebration, a place of memory , country, nation, language, space of enunciation, among others. The discourses that circulate from the Historical Museum MH sustain themselves through language in history, because it is the museum that the discursive memory materializes, establishing discursive that make effects of truth and objectiveness meaning, naturalizing the speeches or not, by what it figures as a display, in which history and memory are the imaginary discourse of immigration, resonating effects of "New" Homeland. The Swabians are people who lived in the region of the Danube River and that brought in its history an itinerancy instituted by the search for new homelands. However, this people is structured by various nations such as Yugoslavia, Germany and Austria, arranging the ethnic formation of the `new` country, which is in-between, in the game of a symbolic and political between-place, which is not the `new` because more than fifty years have passed, but that is not the `old` one as well. So, in between of being Swabian or Brazilian we sustain the analyzes of the Discourse Analysis subject, which was founded by Michel Pecheux; that theory is also/ works in between and is heir to three axes that base itself: linguistics, historical materialism and psychoanalysis, seeking not for the contents of the speeches, but how the sense effects of these discourses constitute themselves. Our thesis leads to a dominant FD, the Swabian immigration one, which regulates the political and social-historical discourses in Entre Rios space. |
